South Lebanon police arrested two men over theft and forgery charges.

A patrol from ISF’s Information Branch apprehended A.Sh., 33, and H.Q., 34, in Sidon for repeatedly buying home appliance from showrooms in Tyre and the surrounding area, by using stolen and counterfeited cheques.

The two Lebanese nationals also admitted to abusing drugs, the ISF said, adding that they are currently held in Sidon’s Mar Elias police station.

A.Sh. is wanted for forgery and sabotage while H.Q. was wanted over purposfully using cheques without sufficient money, the ISF said.
