Internal Security Forces arrested a man suspected of fraud, after he allegedly deceived a woman into giving him money, the Internal Security Forces announced.

The suspect reportedly told the woman he could provide her and her relatives with travel visas. According to the ISF, the woman, who was not identified, paid the man $15,250. The 45-year-old suspect, Th. J., disappeared, changed his phone number and deactivated his Facebook account soon after being paid. He was arrested Thursday in north Lebanon’s Qalamoun. The man allegedly confessed to the charges.
