An Internal Security Forces unit apprehended a man suspected of car theft. The Lebanese national, identified as A.Z., admitted to carrying out car thefts in Mount Lebanon and Beirut.

He also admitted that he was planning two other thefts, targeting the owner of a school in the Bekaa Valley town of Taalabaya and a man transporting money in Beirut's Dora area.

The suspect faces charges of car theft, planning armed robbery and weapons trafficking. He is also being investigated for possible international criminal activity.
