A man suspected of committing a hit-and-run on a highway near the southern town of Kfar Roummane was arrested, the state-run National News Agency reported.
The unidentified suspect ran over a Bengali man, S.Kh., and immediately drove away, the NNA reported. However, a third person followed the suspect until they arrived at a checkpoint near the city of Nabatieh, where that person informed security forces of what had happened. They proceeded to arrest the suspect, the NNA said.
