A hand grenade went-off morning nearby the military checkpoint of the Palestinian National Security Forces in the area of Darb al-Sim at the southern end of Ain el-Helweh refugee camp, without causing any injuries, NNA correspondent in Sidon reported.

Imam of Al-Ghafran Mosque in Sidon, Sheikh Hussam al-Ailani, pointed to the "return of tension to Ain al-Hilweh camp through such blasts, the last of which was at the joint Palestinian security forces' checkpoint inside Ain al-Hilweh camp."

He stressed that all Palestinian factions should shoulder their responsibilities and work on thwarting any sabotage plots by extremist groups, in addition to preventing al-Nusra Front from taking control of Ain el-Helweh since that would pose a threat to the camp and its neighborhood.
