NNA - General Security - General Directorate detained three Syrians over the crime of fighting with an armed group in Arsal battles, a communiqué issued by the General Security- General Directorate said on Wednesday.

The communiqué added that upon investigating with them, they confessed that they belong to a terrorist organization and that they took part with an armed group in the attack against the Lebanese Army and Security Forces stations and sites during Arsal battles at which they kidnapped soldiers and tried to kill others.

The detainees were referred to the concerned authorities after investigations with them were over; and efforts are ongoing to arrest the other involved persons.
