General Security arrests Syrian on terrorism charges

On 07 Dec 15, the General Security Directorate issued a statement in which it reported the arrest of a Syrian involved in terrorism acts, as part of ISIS’s terrorist actions. The arrestee admitted that he recruited elements in the ranks of the said organization and sent them to fight in Syria. He also talked about forming armed cells to carry out security operations in Lebanon, according to the statement issued by the General Security.
