NNA - The General Security General Directorate and upon a notice from the general prosecution arrested the Syrian (M.F) over belonging to a terrorist organization and preparing to carry out a suicide attack, a communiqué issued by the General Security General Directorate said on Thursday.

The communiqué added that upon investigations with him, the detained confessed that he took part in Arsal battles against the Lebanese Army.

He also admitted that he supported Daesh terrorist organization and that he had training workshops in making explosives, adding that he is preparing to carry out a suicide attack against military checkpoints.

The detainee was later referred to the concerned judicial authorities and work is ongoing to arrest the rest of the involved persons.
