General Security arrests Palestinian refugee for links to Daesh
Within the framework of monitoring terrorist groups and observing their activities inside the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon, the General Security arrested a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon for links to terrorist groups, General Security Directorate said in a communiqué. During interrogation, the detained person admitted that he was acquainted with the terrorist Daash Organization through his contacts with some terrorists via social media, including his cousin, the Palestinian refugee in Syria, dubbed as "Abu Laith".
The communiqué said that the so-called Abu Laith has left the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain Hilweh and headed to Syria, where he joined the Daash Organization. Before the detained Palestinian refugee attempted to leave for Syria's Reqqa, he was arrested by the General Security. Upon the termination of interrogation with him, the arrested person was handed over to the concerned judiciary. Investigation proceeds to arrest the remaining culprits.
