On 15 Aug 15, at around 1030hrs, the General Security Forces arrested Sheikh Ahmad Al-Assir (Former Imam of the Bilal Bin Rabah Mosque in Saida, South Lebanon) at Rafic Hariri International Airport (RHIA) while trying to flee the country to Nigeria via Cairo, along with another person, using fake passports holding the names of Ramy Abed Al Rahman Taleb and Khaled Sidani. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Assir is mainly wanted for leading a battle against the Lebanese Army Forces (LAF) in June 2013 in Abra where 18 Lebanese soldiers were killed.
