General Security
NNA - Directorate General of General Security issued a communique saying that it managed to catch a Lebanese citizen and another Palestinian from Ain Al Helwe Camp for refugees for communicating with terrorist organization in Syria for the purpose of carrying out terrorist actions, notably hitting Beirut downtown and observing the security convoys of Lebanese officials in order to assassinate them.
The two arrestees were referred to the competent judiciary for investigations and works are still underway to arrest other involved individuals.
