General Security arrested two suspects in north Lebanon over possible terror links, local media reported.
A unit of General Security commandos raided a number of homes in Zgharta’s village of Meryata in search of suspected militants. A Lebanese national B.Gh. and Syrian national M.J. were arrested during the crackdown.
Charges against the two men include “communication with terrorist groups in Syria and facilitating militant operations in Lebanon,” al-Manar said.
