General Security arrested a man in north Lebanon on suspicions of terror links.

General Security’s Information Branch detained a Syrian man identified as Fayyad Gh. in Akkar over suspicions “of affiliation with terrorist groups.”

Authorities have been working to crack down on extremist sleeper cells to prevent attacks.
