General Security apprehends Lebanese over terror links

NNA - The Lebanese General Security on Tuesday arrested a Lebanese national over affiliation to a terrorist organization, as well as contacts with a number of terrorists.

After investigations, the arrestee confessed affiliation to ISIS through the terrorist organization's "Emir" in Wadi Khaled, M.S., nicknamed Abou Maaz.

The arrestee also confessed having been active within the weapon trade industry in the service of ISIS.

In the wake of investigations, the convict was transferred to the concerned judiciary apparatus. Meanwhile, work is underway pending the arrest of the other involved members. http://nna-leb.gov.lb/en/show-news/59451/General-Security-apprehends-Leb...
