On the 15th of December, the General Directorate of Lebanon's State Security arrested  a terrorist cell affiliated Al-Nusra Front in Baalbek.

The cell comprises of Syrian nationals (Walid G.), (Ahmad G.), (Zakaria G.) and (Ziad R.), who took part in battles against the Lebanese army in Arsal back in 2014.

Investigations with the apprehended cell revealed that the group had seized weapons, military vehicles, sums of money, and a hand watch belonging to one of the slain army servicemen.

The detainees and their possessions were handed over to the intelligence services of the Lebanese army upon the request of the competent judicial authorities.
