NNA - A Syrian national has been arrested today on charges of belonging to a terrorist group, the Directorate of the General Security stated in its arrest warrant issued on Saturday upon a tip by the ad-hoc Prosecutor General.
Also and, in a further General Security Directorate disclosure, a Lebanese national was arrested on charges of involvement with the above-mentioned Syrian in harboring terrorists and facilitating their transportation in exchange of specific sums of money.
The arrested Syrian confessed under interrogation to his affiliation to Ahrar al-Sham terrorist group, the Security Directorate's statement concluded.
