Five Lebanese arrested on terrorism charges

On 26 Sep 15, the Lebanese Armed Forces referred Lebanese national Abdul Rahman Zakariya Al Hassan along with four other citizens (mentioned by their initials: E.H., M.H., A.H., and N.H.) to the judiciary for further investigation on charges of terrorism and plotting to target the LAF. Al Hassan belongs to a terrorist organization and was in the possession of explosive material, hand grenades, taser guns and military weapons with the intent of making bombs and using them against military posts. Hassan also attempted to lure LAF soldiers into defecting and joining terrorist organizations. He also tried to persuade soldiers to seize military equipment. The terrorist was also charged of possession and abuse of drugs. The other four culprits were arrested on charges of transporting Hassan's explosives and concealing them after his arrest.
