Five people were injured  when a man opened fire at his nephew in the southern suburbs of Beirut, a security source told The Daily Star.

The source said that Samir Mounzer opened fire at his nephew Kassem Khaddouj, who is an alleged drug dealer, in the Ain al-Sikke neighborhood in Burj al-Barajneh.

The nature of the dispute remains unclear.

Three Palestinians identified as Safi Matar, Jihad Matar and Mohammad Nazih Fattoum, were injured in the shooting.

Mohammad Marwan, a disabled man, and an unidentified individual were also injured when a stun bomb was tossed in the area following the incident.
