A fierce brawl broke out amongst panhandlers in Hamra, after several of the persons involved reserved sidewalk places for others.
The fight, near the American University of Beirut Medical Center, started when one of the panhandlers reserved a strategic place for another beggar, which sparked a dispute that quickly escalated into a large brawl involving over a dozen people.
