On 29 Dec 15, the Lebanese Armed Forces announced that 2 factories for manufacturing drugs were found and shutdown in Dar El Wesaa-Bekaa. The factories belong to Hassan Hjaj Jaafar, Mohamad Qaysar Jaafar & Hassan Jaafar. Large quantities of drugs were confiscated alongside light and medium weapons, rocket-propelled grenades, ammunition and various military equipment. One stolen vehicle and three other vehicles without legal papers were also confiscated.

وطنية - صدر عن شعبة العلاقات العامة في المديرية العامة لقوى الامن الداخلي البلاغ الآتي: "في تاريخ 29/12/2015، قام قسم المباحث الجنائية العامة والمجموعة الخاصة SWAT التابعة لقسم مكافحة الإرهاب في وحدة الشرطة القضائية، وبمؤازرة من الجيش، بدهم منزل احد المطلوبين للقضاء في بلدة دار الواسعة بحيث تمكنوا من ضبط نحو 70 كيلوغراما من حشيشة الكيف المصنعة و300 كيلوغرام غير مصنعة (تبن الحشيشة، تم تلفها في المكان)، بالإضافة إلى مسدسين حربيين وكمية من الذخيرة وهواتف خليوية".
