An explosive device Thursday went off in the northeastern border town of Arsal, wounding a man, a security source told The Daily Star.
The source said ISIS militants had planted a roadside device near the house of a man with close ties to the Al-Qaeda-linked Nusra Front, Mohammad Sobhi Wehbi.
Wehbi was slightly wounded.
Arsal has been the site of sporadic violence ever since Nusra and ISIS militants briefly overran the town in August 2014.
