A drinking water pipe was destroyed after unknown assailants threw a grenade in the Ras al-Ahmar neighborhood in Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp. There were no injuries or deaths reported as a result of the incident.

The south Lebanon camp's multifactional joint security force quickly arrived to the scene. A source told The Daily Star that all is calm at Lebanon's largest Palestinian refugee camp despite the incident.
