On 29 May 16, at 23:50hrs, in Qabiit – Aakkar, a dispute over the Municipality elections erupted between unidentified persons. An exchange of fire was witnessed between the Lebanese Army Forces (LAF) and unidentified persons. One (1) injury among the assailants was reported. Following the incident, LAF deployed and contained the situation.
