An 80-year-old man has reportedly been robbed of $100,000 worth of diamond and gold jewelry, according to an Internal Security Forces statement carried by the state-run National News Agency.

The ISF is searching for three suspects - two women and a man - for taking part in the crime. The report did not provide details on the location of the incident.

NNA said the ISF released a video purporting to show the elderly man getting approached by a woman claiming to work as a house cleaner, and he later gave her his address. She arrived to his house on Feb. 2, while the two other members of the gang waited outside his house.

After distracting the elderly man with “various acts of indecency,” the reported said, she opened the door for her female partner who proceeded to steal what he said was $100,000 worth of diamond and gold jewelry, before the two women escaped.

The first woman was described as 40 years old with long blond hair, a star tattoo on her chin, a tanned complexion and of average height.

The ISF asked that anyone who has seen the woman to contact the Furn al-Shubbak unit at 01/292867. The report added that the victim of the robbery has announced a financial reward for anyone that assists in finding or arresting this woman.

This security incident was mapped according to the closest possible location.
