Eight-year-old Palestinian dies in south Lebanon gun accident

An 8-year-old Palestinian boy was accidentally killed while playing with his father’s gun Friday morning in the refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh.
Youssef Isam Musa used a chair to reach the gun, which was placed on a high shelf in the father’s bedroom, Palestinian security sources told The Daily Star.
The gun was accidentally fired, instantly killing the boy.
Musa’s father is a member of the Popular Front to Liberate Palestine-General Command, headed by Ahmad Gibrel.
The boy was taken to Al-Aqsa Hospital in the refugee camp, located on the outskirts of the coastal city of Sidon.
