Electricite du Liban's Contract Workers Thursday closed the customers waiting area at the company's headquarters in Mar Mikhael to protest unfair working measures taken by service providing company KVA, the state-run National News Agency reported. NNA said that KVA forced a female cancer-ridden employee to attend to her work daily and deducted from her paycheck her days of absence. KVA is one of the three service providers that manage Lebanon’s electricity sector.
