East Lebanon police arrested a suspect over fraud charges, state media reported.
A State Security patrol from its Bekaa Regional Directorate apprehended Lebanese national Hawlo S.A. in the Bekaa Valley for allegedly forging property title deeds, said the National News Agency.
The man presumably admitted to providing a fraudulent title deed for a property lot in Mount Lebanon’s Metn District, the NNA said, adding that he intended to buy the property in partnership with two other Lebanese men that State Security have already arrested.
Investigations are underway.
