East Lebanon man fatally shot Thursday was Friday laid to rest.

Khalil Omar Solh who was shot in front of his house in the town of Baalbeck died soon after he was taken to a nearby hospital.

His body was laid to rest Friday afternoon at 2 p.m.

The two assailants, who are allegedly member of the powerful Zeaiter clan, remain at large.

Elderly members of the clan have issued a statement denouncing the killing and calling for the shooters' prompt arrest.
