Two men promoting drugs have been arrested as part of a crackdown on the drug trade in Mount Lebanon.
 
The Internal Security Forces' Information Branch arrested Lebanese national A.S., born in 1991, and his brother R.S., born in 1987. The pair was arrested on October 31 while traveling in a jeep in Kesrouan's Safra.
 
The brothers were caught after an increase in drug promotion in Kesrouan and Jbeil prompted the police to take action.
 
While searching the vehicle, the ISF seized 63 grams of cocaine parceled into 21 envelopes; 223 grams of heroin inside 71 envelopes; a gun; four mobile phones; and a forged ID card. The brothers were carrying $1530 in addition to LL140,000.
 
During investigations, they admitted to promoting drugs in Kesrouan, Jbeil and in the area surrounding Casino du Liban.
