اعلنت المديرية العـامة لقوى الأمـن الداخلي ـ شعبة العلاقات العامة في بيان انه بعد تفشي ظاهرة ترويج وتعاطي المخدرات في مدينة صيدا باشرت شعبة المعلومات في قوى الامن الداخلي إستقصاءاتها وتحرياتها المكثفة، وتمكنت من تحديد هوية احدهم وتوقيفه، اثر كمين محكم في ساحة النجمة- صيدا، وهو: ع. د. (مواليد عام 1969، لبناني) وضُبط بحوزته 8 أكياس من مادة الهيرويين.

واشارت الى انه بالتحقيق معه اعترف بما نسب إليه، وانه يتنقل بواسطة هوية فلسطينية مزورة باسم غشان خشان 1982، وكان متوجهاً لبيع المخدرات داخل محلة صيدا القديمة للمدعو: ن. د. (مواليد 1980، فلسطيني)، فتم توقيفه، واعترف بتعاطيه المخدرات. كما تبين أنه يوجد بحقه 5 مذكرات عدلية بجرائم مخدرات. كذلك وبعد عملية رصد ومتابعة اوقفت الشعبة في مدينة صور محلة البص المدعو: ح. ز. (مواليد عام 1999، لبناني) لقيامه بترويج وتعاطي الحبوب المهلوسة
