صدر عن المديرية العامة لقوى الامن الداخلي - شعبة العلاقات العامة البلاغ التالي: "بتاريخ 22/3/2016، توافرت معلومات لدى مكتب مكافحة المخدرات المركزي في وحدة الشرطة القضائية عن قيام شخص بترويج المخدرات في محلة نهر الموت.

وعلى الفور توجهت قوة من المكتب الى المحلة المذكورة، وتمكنت من توقيف المدعو ف. ط. (مواليد عام 1995، سوري).

وضبط بحوزته 103 غ قائم من مادة الكوكايين ضمن 73 مظروفا ورقيا ابيض، 45 غ قائم من مادة باز الكوكايين مقسمة الى 30 مظروفا، 43 غ قائم من مادة السليفيا موضبة داخل 19 كيسا، 10غ قائم من حشيشة الكيف، كيسين يحتويان على 20 حبة "XTC" وبندقية صيد نوع "بومب اكشن" مع 11 طلقة عائدة لها صالحة للاستعمال.
