نتيجة للتحريات والاستقصاءات التي قامت بها مفرزة استقصاء الشمال في وحدة الدرك الإقليمي، تمكنت بتاريخ 14/5/2017 من توقيف أحد تجار المخدرات في محلة اوتوستراد المنية الجديد، وذلك بعد محاولته الفرار على متن سيارته، فأضطر عناصرالقوة إلى إطلاق النار ترهيبا، وتمكنوا من توقيفه، من دون أن يصاب بأذى، ويدعى: ن. أ. ( مواليد عام 1987، لبناني)وقد ضبط بحوزته /1230/ حبة مخدرة من نوع "كبتاغون" والسيارة المستخدمة نوع ب. أم لون كحلي من دون لوحات.
