ألقت دورية تابعة لشرطة بلدية مدينة الشويفات القبض على المدعو (م.أ.ب) من التابعية السورية، في محلّة طريق صيدا القديمة - الشويفات، وذلك بعد أن كان عناصر الدورية قد اشتبهوا به أثناء قيادته دراجته النارية، حيث حاول الهرب بعد رؤيتهم وقام برمي كيس كان بحوزته على الأرض.
وبعد أن تمكن عناصر الشرطة من إلقاء القبض عليه وإحضاره إلى مركز البلدية مع الكيس المذكور تبيّن أنه يحتوي على كمية من المخدرات والأموال، حيث اعترف بقيامه بترويجها في المنطقة، ثمّ قامت مفوضية الشرطة في البلدية بتسليمه إلى الأجهزة الأمنية المختصة مع المضبوطات.
