أفادت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي – شعبة العلاقات العامة بأنه "توافرت معلومات لدى مفرزة استقصاء الجنوب في وحدة الدرك الإقليمي عن شخص من بلدة بيت ليف الجنوبية ينشط بترويج حشيشة الكيف المخدّرة ونتيجةً للتحريات والاستقصاءات المكثّفة، التي قام بها عناصر المفرزة المذكورة ، تمكنوا من تحديد هويته وتوقيفه بتاريخ 27/9/2018، بعد مداهمة مكان إقامته داخل غرفة عند أطراف البلدة
وهو لبناني الجنسية وضُبط بحوزته حوالي /50/ غ. من مادة الحشيشة، ومبلغ من المال
