أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الأمن الداخلي انه توافرت معلومات عن قيام شخص مجهول بترويج مخدرات في محلة المدينة الرياضية / مجمع المدارس. بتاريخ 28/5/2018، ونتيجة التحريات والاستقصاءات المكثفة، تمكنت دورية من مفرزة الاستقصاء في وحدة شرطة بيروت، من توقيفه في المحلة المذكورة، ويدعى:_ م. ع. ( مواليد عام 1985، لبناني)وضبط بحوزته /10/ اكياس بداخل كل منها حوالي /10/غ من مادة الهيرويين معدّة للترويج تتراوح قيمتها بين 3000 و4000 $. سلم مع المضبوطات الى فصيلة الرملة البيضاء في وحدة شرطة بيروت، للتوسع بالتحقيق معه، بناءً على إشارة القضاء المختص.
