أعلنت المديرية العامة لقوى الامن الداخلي ـ شعبة العلاقات العامة أنه "توافرت معلومات لمكتب مكافحة المخدرات المركزي في وحدة الشرطة القضائية عن مكان تواجد أحد أخطر الأشخاص بجرم تهريب حبوب كبتاغون الى دولة عربية عبر عدة شركات شحن.
نتيجة المتابعة الحثيثة تمكنت دورية من المكتب المذكور بالتنسيق مع فصيلة درك عرسال في وحدة الدرك الإقليمي، من توقيف المشتبه به في عرسال، وهو سوري)
