The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine and other organizations protested Friday against the disruption of the United Nations agency for Palestinian refugees.
DFLP protested in front of the office of the UNRWA services director at the Ain al-Hilweh refugee camp, condemning American-Israeli pressures to disrupt UNRWA, which comes after the U.S. made significant funding cuts to the U.N. agency.
Mahmoud Abu Sweid, the secretary of the executive committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, of which DFLP is a part, spoke at the protest, stressing that Palestinian organizations and civil society groups refused to accept U.S. President Donald Trump's administration's disturbance of UNRWA.
