Demonstrations took place all over the country to protest the violence, namely in West Beirut, the southern and eastern suburbs, in Baabda, Hadath, Antounieh, Choueifat, Sin al- Fil, and Nabaa. Women demonstrated in Bourj Hamoud, Mar Mikhaël, Sed al-Bouchrieh, Jdeideh, Dora, as well as in the North and in the Beqaa. At least 40,000 people demonstrated in total.
