On 06 May 16, in Saida, Lebanese Islamists demonstrated in solidarity with the Syrian people of Aleppo, which has recently been rocked by violence. The protest, which took place in Martyr’s Square following Friday prayers, was organized by both the Al-Jamaa al-Islamiya group and the Association of Muslim Scholars.
