افاد مراسل "النشرة" في صيدا، ان قوة من الجمارك داهمت محلا لبيع التبغ في منطقة الغازية لصاحبه (حسين.غ) في حي الريجي، فالقوا القبض على ولده فتدخل اهالي المنطقة وعملوا على تهريب محمد على ما استدعى قيام عناصر الجمارك باطلاق النار في الهواء
