Couple arrested for killing three year-old daughter

Police arrested a couple for beating their three-year-old daughter to death, a judicial source told The Daily Star.
The source said that Judge Dani Chrabieh issued the arrest warrants on charges of death of the child.
The couple were not identified.
The girl was admitted to St.Louis hospital in Jounieh's Haret Sakhr, north of Beirut.
The three-year-old later succumbed to her wounds.
“Neighbors of the family told security forces that they often heard the child cry,” the source said.
