Ras Baalbek's desolate areas have been witnessing, since this morning, fierce confrontations between the Lebanese Army forces deployed in the region and armed persons trying to infiltrate into it.

The Army managed to destroy five vehicles belonging to the militants and killed and wounded a number of Nusra front elements, as reported by the NNA correspondent.
