One of Fateh Movement's senior officials, Sleiman Abu Nemr, was assassinated in a booby-trap that went off inside Ain el-Hilweh Refugee Camp, following which clashes broke out again along Safsaf-Braxat Axis, causing many to leave their homes in the region, NNA correspondent reported.
However, Palestinian National Security Brigade Commander Subhi Abu Arab considered, on Saturday, that the killing of Fateh Military Unit Commander Sleiman Abu Nemr occurred by accident, whereby a bomb he had kept at his home went off by mistake.
He added that the clashes that broke out following Abu Nemr's death were due to the belief that he was targeted.
