NNA - Armed clashes renewed in the Upper Street inside the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain el Hilwe, and bullets landed in neighboring Siniq causing injuries. The clashes also caused a fire in the nearby al-Farouq mosque, driving a number of families to leave their houses and schools to close for the day. 

The disruption is being felt in the surrounding region. NNA correspondants reported that sounds of missiles explosions are still heard in Sidon, Majdalyoun and the villages East of Sidon city. It was also added, that "LIU" and "Lebanese" Universities, high schools and schools in the region closed causing heavy traffic in the camp vicinity next to Sidon Serail. 

Casualty numbers have also risen. The child who earlier was hit by a sniper bullet in the Palestinian refugee camp in Ain El-Helweh died a while ago. The filed reporter added that a sniper bullet also hit and injured Ziad A and a pregnant woman, named Mariam Aweid, got wounded as a result of the clashes in the Palestinian refugee camp of Ain al-Hilweh, raising the casualty toll to one dead and three wounded, NNA reporter said.
