Armed clashes erupted between members of the Jaafar and Al-Jamal clans in Hermel, near the Syrian border. A security source said that a convoy belonging to notorious drug lord Nouh Zeaiter was shot at during the clashes.
Baalbeck-Hermel is notorious for its clans and the shootouts that take place between rival families.
