أفاد مراسل "النشرة" في البقاع بأنه "وقعت اشتباكات في بلدة القصر في قضاء الهرمل بين اشخاص من آل جعفر وآخرين من آل ناصر الدين استخدمت فيها الأسلحة الرشاشة والقذائف الصاروخية".

وفي سياق متصل، أصدرت عائلة آل جفر بياناً ذكرت فيه، "يا أهلنا في منطقة القصر نأسف على ما حصل من إزعاج نتيجة سوء التفاهم الذي حصل بين البيت الواحد ونطلب من أهلنا آل نصرالدين بتكليف لجنة من آل نصرالدين وتحقيق بما جرى في هذه المشكلة"، مشيرةً الى انه "ثبت حق علينا نحن حاضرون لتقديمه بكل محبة وعلى طبق من ورد وإن كأن إخوتنا من آل نصرالدين الذي حصل المشكل معهم عليهم الحق نحن مسامحون ونأسف عما حصل والاشكال فردي وضمن البيت الواحد".
