NNA - Civil Society activists have staged, for the second consecutive day on Thursday, a sit-in in Riyadh al-Solh - downtown Beirut, in line with the cabinet session.
The activists set-up tents in front of the Grand Serail and carried slogans against arbitrary tax increase.
"No more Liras" (Wala Lira), protesters brandished slogans refusing a tax increase to export wastes and called for the establishment of a fund monitoring device.
