Citizen Elie Kfoury (born in 1962) received fatal gunshots during a robbery in Jal el Dib.
In details, unidentified men on a motorcycle were trying to rob a shop in Jal el Dib, near Mar Takla church, when one of the citizens sensed their presence which prompted them to escape to an unknown destination firing randomly and wounding citizen Elie Mansour Kfoury who later died of his wounds.
Security services immediately rushed to the scene and opened an investigation into the incident.
It is to note that Kfoury owns a shop for electrical appliances near the scene of the accident.
