استكمالا لمكافحة تهريب الأشخاص من سوريا إلى لبنان، ونتيجة للمتابعة والرصد، تمكنت شعبة المعلومات في قوى الأمن الداخلي بتاريخ 16/7/2017، من توقيف المدعو:
ع.ع. (مواليد عام 1996، لبناني)، برفقته 39 شخصا سوريا من بينهم 18 طفلا وذلك في بلدة الصويري البقاعية، حاول ادخالهم خلسة إلى داخل الاراضي اللبنانية.

سلم الموقوفون الى القطعة المعنية، لإجراء المقتضى القانوني، بناء على إشارة القضاء المختص".
