A church bell was stolen on October 22 near the northern town of Anfeh.
The bell, which reportedly weighs around 100 kilograms and is estimated to be worth around $3,500, was stolen from the Church of Our Lady on the outskirts of Anfeh, well away from residential buildings.
The priest of the parish, Father Rabia Awad, filed a complaint with the local Internal Security Forces division, which opened an investigation into the incident.
